Hotel National in Chisinau.

Moldova had under 100,000 foreign visitors last year, which is strange. A favorable price setting and 142 winemakers should attract significantly more. But it may come. Moldova is poor and it takes time to build an infrastructure for tourists.

San Marinosan-marino

75,000 visited the micro-state of San Marino. In San Marino, there are plenty of historical sights, and the country is beautifully situated at the foot of the north-eastern Alps on the border with Italy.

The small Lichtenstein has first place among Europe’s least visited countries. Lichtenstein has only 61,000 inhabitants and is enclosed between Switzerland and Austria.
