Poland has big problems with mortality in traffic. One reason is that many people drink and drive. Even on a bike.
The big problem is not that drunk driving cyclists killing other people. Rather, they expose themselves to unnecessary risks in traffic. To deal with the problem, there is now prison punishment on the scale of drunk cycling.
The blood alcohol limit in Poland for cyclists is 0.2 per thousand, the same as for motorists in Sweden. In Sweden, there is no law against riding a bicycle drunk.
